Shipping Policy

At The Village Providore, every piece of fudge and nougat is handcrafted with love on the NSW Central Coast. We want your order to arrive in perfect condition, so please take a moment to read our shipping information below.


Where We Ship

We ship within Australia only. Due to strict Australian biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship internationally at this time. All of our handmade confectionery is produced in Australia and must remain within the country.


Shipping Rates

The following rates apply to standard retail orders only.

$100 and over Standard (Australia Post) FREE

Free standard shipping is automatically applied at checkout on retail orders $100 and over.

Larger & corporate orders: Shipping for bulk or corporate orders is not included in the above rates and will be quoted separately. We'll confirm shipping costs with you by email before dispatch.


Estimated Delivery Times

Once your order has been dispatched, estimated delivery times via Australia Post are:

  • Standard shipping: 3โ€“7 business days (metro areas); 5โ€“10 business days (regional and remote areas)
  • Express shipping: 1โ€“3 business days (metro areas); 2โ€“5 business days (regional and remote areas)

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary during peak periods such as Christmas, Easter, and public holidays. Australia Post delivery times are outside our control once your order has been dispatched.


Order Processing Time

This policy applies to standard retail orders only. For larger or corporate orders, please see the note below.

Because our fudge and nougat is made fresh to order, we may need to handcraft your products before dispatch. Standard retail orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2โ€“4 business days of payment being received. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once your order is on its way.

Larger & Corporate Orders

Processing times for larger or corporate orders will vary depending on quantity and product mix. We will contact you by email with an estimated timeframe after your order is received. We strongly recommend ordering as early as possible, particularly during peak gifting seasons (Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day).


Heat-Sensitive Products โ€” Important

Our fudge and nougat are handmade with natural ingredients and can be affected by heat, particularly during the warmer months (November through March).

To protect your order:

  • We recommend selecting Express shipping during summer to minimise time in transit.
  • We strongly recommend providing a delivery address where someone will be present to receive the parcel, or requesting signature on deliverythrough Australia Post where possible.
  • If you are ordering during a heatwave or extreme weather event, please consider whether your delivery location is suitable (e.g. avoid letterboxes or outdoor areas exposed to direct sun).
  • The Village Providore cannot be held responsible for heat damage that occurs after dispatch. If you have concerns about delivery conditions, please contact us before placing your order.

Shelf Life

Our products are made fresh and have the following shelf life when stored correctly (cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight):

  • Handmade Fudge: 4โ€“6 months
  • Artisan Nougat: 6โ€“8 months

Refrigeration is not required but may be preferred during warmer months.


Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can track your parcel directly on the Australia Post website.
